Hi, I'm Dana and welcome to my website. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. Colorado Proud! I attended Colorado State University. I have 4 boys, one is my husband. A former flight attendant for United Airlines. I am a stay-at-home mom as my first gig now. I love to travel, overlanding and offloading. My bucket list is long.

I have my fill of coffee. Eat my share of chocolate. I am an animal lover. Koalas are my cause. Black and blue are my favorite colors. I am the most talkative introvert you’ll ever meet. I really dislike: snakes, watermelon, mean people, wind and crowds. I love: cake, generosity, peace and quiet and family time.

There’s a method to my madness. I am chaotically organized.

Awards & Recognition

  • When I started out as a landscape photographer in 2015 as a hobby, I was approached to do senior portraits for hire in 2017. I was not keen on the idea because I was on the one track mind of just doing landscapes. I understood lighting and composition for landscapes, but wasn’t sure I could grasp that concept in portraits. I took on the challenge and haven’t looked back since. I am so grateful I had those opportunities in 2017 to do senior and family portraits. It’s where I want to be today photographing memories.

  • I didn’t wake up one morning and decide to become a photographer and digital artist - I just kind of fell into it.  It has progressed into so much more fulfillment than I could ever imagine. Photography isn’t just about taking a picture; it’s how I see the picture through the lens and the true art of my photograph is what I see in my editing.  I can make a photograph look a 100 different ways, but my enjoyment is bringing the photo to life in a more interesting way. I’ve never aspired to be a professional, but a hobbyist always, with aspirations to do professional looking photographs and digital art.
